In over 30 years of running quizzes, I recall only 5 teams ever scoring a maximum 100 points - and they were all at specialist music quizzes (back in the day at the Old Dairy in Stroud Green, between 1999 and 2006, which at times was the busiest quiz night in London - winning teams from the NME and Kerrang amongst others, happy days). Busiest (but not highest scoring) quizzes would have been at the church on Muswell Hill (a Firkin pub at the time, from around 1993 to 2001) with up to 46 teams over two floors. 
It's much harder to score big in a general knowledge quiz, but here are the top scores according to my records since 2010;
